Slide Water

I made a very little water slide by putting the sandbox cover under the slide and filling it with water from the sprinkler.  The kids LOVE it!  Kyan keeps asking for the "slide water" again! 

Orange Driving

Kyan calls Home Depot "Orange Driving" because of the cool carts they have that look like orange race cars.  He asks all the time to go "orange driving"  and nearly pees his pants with excitement when we get to go.  Ahhhh, the simple pleasures of life!  

He has also gotten Nyah to be equally excited about it. They both squeal with delight when they get in the car!  And they "drive" with the steering wheels the whole trip. 

Here is Kyan "helping" daddy move some rock... he has a little shovel that he would pick up one or two rocks each time.  It was so cute watching him work with his dad!

Play park

Here we are at a play park in down town White Bear Lake.  These pics are from early June which was a bit cold some days.  {that is why the kids are wearing sweat shirts}  I loved all the "older vintage" equipment!

Sandbox

I have lots of pictures to update in the next few days!  I am just going to schedule them to post every day for the next coupled of days.  Just FYI! :)

We filled up "Tuggy" the tug boat with sand... which is what it was intended for in the first place!

The kids love playing in the sand!  Nyah likes to eat it, so I have to keep an eye on her most of the time.

Here are the kids eating a snack on the little table we got from my mom.  I love snack time outside... if something falls on the ground I don't have to worry about picking it up! :)

The kids love it!  

We are having so much fun potty training... what the picture does not show is the mommy, who is also near tears!  There is nothing like potty training to make a mom feel like a complete failure!

But, just seconds after the above shot was taken... Ky did it!  He went potty in the toilet! A small victory in the long battle that is potty training!

Lanyah's 1 year old pictures

We had my cousin (and his wife) take Nyah's 1 year pictures... they did an AMAZING job!  I love every one of the pictures they gave us!  They were great with our kids and really got them to smile! :)

Zoo, tractors and the park

We had a busy couple of weeks!  I got the zoo pass from the library which means that we get 2 free people to the Minnesota zoo... so our whole family went and had so much fun!  

We also stayed at Mima and Pepa's house while Jason was in Boston.  We had fun riding the tractor and playing at the park!
