The kids had so much fun this Halloween... I should say that Kyan and Nyah had a great time... Evytt was a little bit freaked out. He did fine wearing his costume around the house and going to our neighbors to treat-or-treat. but once we got to our church Fall Festival he wasn't so sure about this whole Halloween thing. He was not his usual smiley self, and had a look of concern most of the night.

I didn't think this kid could get any cuter... but then I put this panda costume on him... and man, I want to eat him up!

Nyah was a Butterfly Princess... not just a princess... not just a butterfly... a butterfly princess.

Kyan was Optimus Prime. This was the one time he would wear his mask.

Nyahs's First day of school (a little late!) 2013

I totally forgot to post pictures for Nyah's first day of school! Oops! It was on Sept. 10th

This is her fist full year of preschool. She goes 5 days a week in the mornings. She is attending a special preschool for Deaf and Hard or Hearing preschoolers. They work on speech and language, along with hearing activities and they teach her ways to advocate for herself in the classroom if she cannot hear. It is an awesome program and we are happy to have these kind of resources for her.

Kyan's First day of school 2013

Today was Kyan's first day of Kindergarten. He was so excited to ride the bus to school. We are lucky because the bus picks him up (and drops him off) at the end of our drive way.

He is so ready for school. This kid was made for school - he loves rules and schedules.

I can't help but think that his teacher is lucky to have him in her class this year - who doesn't want to hang out with the happy dude all day?

We had kindergarten orientation the day before to get me (and him... but mostly me) ready for the big day. He found his name tag for his hook right away!

When he got home I just wanted to smother him. I asked and asked about his day. He told me

"I played games, read books and played outside"

What about lunch?

"Oh yeah- I had a snack and lunch... but I wanted to play outside so I didn't eat all my lunch"

Did you miss me being gone all day?

"No- I knew you were at home."

he cannot wait to go back tomorrow!

4th of July 2013

We were able to celebrate the 4th of July this year with my Sister and her kids since they were in town!

of course we went all out in our red-white-and-blues!

We had a fun filled day that included lots of food, games and our own parade that we had on a boat (on a trailer) through my parents neighborhood and ending at the park where Pepaw and Jason set of Fireworks!

Evytt 2 months

Evytt is 2 months old!

He is growing right on schedule (13.5 pounds and 24 inches) and is a healthy boy!

We had Evytt dedicated this weekend and it was a special time for our family!

He is smiling and cooing a lot now and it bring such joy to my heart!

I can kiss those cheeks all day long!

Evytt 1 month old

Evytt is 1 month old! Can you believe it?!

Going from 2 to 3 kids has been a big adjustment! We are still trying to find our groove. Being out numbered is rough! But these little feet make it all it!
